Cisco Service Provider Solution Partner

In June 2003, Wafer Systems ( China ) Co., Ltd. reaches an agreement with the Cisco Systems ( China ) Network Technology Co., Ltd., and formally became a service provider solution partner of Cisco. Wafer Systems will join hands with the US-based leading network provider in pursuing close cooperation in development of NGN- and VoIP-oriented value-added applications. The company will provide Cisco platform-based advanced software solutions for service provider.

The Cisco Service Provider Solution Partner program of Cisco Systems Inc. selects outstanding business partners in the industry and offers them capability of developing software and hardware integrated solutions based on platforms of Cisco products. Customers will enjoy more and better solutions developed with full advantages of both sides. Besides acquiring advanced product developing capability as being a Cisco service provider solution partner, Wafer Systems will collaborate with Cisco Systems in expanding into the telecom carrier value-added application market and meet customer satisfaction and expectation in high quality products and services.

Wafer Systems entered VoIP market in 2000. Wafer's integrated VoIP-oriented value-added solution series have been successfully implemented at many domestic telecom carriers since then. Becoming an official service provider solution partner of Cisco will further deepen existing cooperation between two companies. The combination of Cisco's products and Wafer's software R&D capability and understanding of customer requirement will enable Wafer Systems a greater capacity in providing more well-defined and flexible solutions for telecom carriers to start new businesses.
