At present, along with constant skill and update of network technology, many problems will exist caused by constant network capacity expansion, like how to manage daily network operation, plan network extension as well as comprehensively manage different supplier devices; with regard to different supplier devices, it is currently key subject how to automatically manage and integrate network in different environment (including network capacity planning).    

Aiming at current practical situation, Wafer System (China) Co., Ltd developed one set of perfect and integrated data network management system which can meet real demand. It not only manages different supplier devices, but also makes system show good expandability through unique templet technology.  

The system is a network management system applicable to small & medium network. It can automatically implements device topology in network and powerful editing function in topology graph; in addition, it can receive the sent TRAP message due to device fault; analysis is given to these messages, find fault source; in addition, regular polling is given to device state; at the same time, the system can show powerful performance analysis capacity, which can check various performance index of different devices.

  • Resource Management Subsystem
Implement functions of auto-finding network resource and auto-acquisition of resource information; it can automatically analyze and establish logic relationship between resources for offering data to other application subsystem;   
  • Performance Monitoring Subsystem
Acquisition is given to performance information of all resources, like network device, host and link, and implement performance monitoring of network resource; offer network service quality analysis data for historic data statistics analysis; offer data support for decision, like network update and capacity expansion, or help network administrator to identify and resolve specified network problems.    
  • Alarm Event Subsystem
Acquisition is given to fault information arisen from various resources, like network device, host and link, and issue alarm event; based on alarm event, network administrator can exactly position and in time analyze network faults.
